Love this dress, fits well, for my 66 year old figure, with me being fuller around the middle. Had to have it hemmed up just a little, as I am only 5 ft tall. Love the sleeves, and it hangs very well all the way around. Already have jewelry to match, Can't wait to wear this at my son's wedding, Very Pleased with this purchase.I purchased this evening gown to wear to a formal banquet. It did not disappoint! It is beautiful and very flattering. The material is very nice quality. I received several compliments and won 2nd place in an evening gown contest.The dress was gorgeous and true to size. Turned out it was just too dressy for the occasion I needed it for so I had to return it.I am an older woman buying this for my second marriage. Everything is usually too long on me so I chose the 16 petite hoping it would be shorter and it is. The dress fits perfectly and is very elegant and well made. I chose silver and it is more light gray than silver but still very beautiful. I read previous reviews and several people were worried about the hidden back zipper being hard to move. I found this as well. I decided to try and slip it over my head without opening the zipper and it slid right on. That solved the problem. I love this dress and can’t wait to wear it for my Fall wedding.I have been searching high and low for a dress to wear to my daughter's wedding. I have a long list of features I require in a dress, mostly due to the fact that I am very self-conscious of how I look, so I needed to be covered up. That's a tall order for an evening/MOB dress. This dress ticks all those boxes! In the photo, I initially thought that this dress might not be suitable for someone who is round in the middle, due to the faux wrap/tie design, but it works very nicely on me. I was nervous about the dress being a little tight, so I ordered one size up from my usual size and found it to have a very comfortable amount of breathing room. It is a tad long, but should be just right when I fit it with my shoes. The length and roominess of the sleeves is just right, and the V isn't too deep. Yes, the beading is a little heavy, but that's to be expected, and is the mark of quality. My only complaint is that the zipper sticks a little, but a touch of paraffin wax should fix that right up. This is the first dress I tried on after looking online--and in stores (ugh)--for months. Hit it out of the park on my first try!The style is flattering. It's beautiful and was actually comfortable!The dress does run a little big around the middle and is a little too long but I'd rather a dress fit a little lose than tight. Would buy again.I was told to buy a size 8. My usual size is 2. I thought this might have measured sizes different than I usually get. I decided to get a size 6.It is totally off size. Way too big.
